Red Agave has been the most excellent experience I've had hiring a contractor to do something large. Jensen does the design plus runs things, and he is a fortunate blend of talented but also experienced. We wanted a total backyard redo, including turning a pergola into an outdoor living room cabana complete with a metal roof and decking flooring. They had to do wiring, plumb a propane line for a propane fire pit they made out of a huge boulder, roofing, metalwork, decking, planting design and implementation. Jensen cared as much about having everything done right as I did — and I am very picky about quality. This backyard now looks amazing — like the boutique resort hotel outdoor lounging I was hoping for. Five out of five stars all the way!

I bought a new build in January 2020 and knew going into it that I was going to have some drainage issues. Red Agave essentially turned a mud pit into a beautiful outdoor space. They moved all the down spout drainage into underground drains that empty into a nearby creek. The clean lines make me so happy — it's the attention to detail on this project that are really something. The custom made welded steel planters, the colors, and the drip system all are very high quality workmanship. Red Agave is probably not cheapest in town, but the work they do is incredible.

Davey and Clayton built a beautiful walkway and framed in several flower beds. Mark built a stunning deck. These guys are true professionals. I interviewed several companies and ended up hiring Red Agave. Their knowledge of the industry was immediately apparent. The installation process was seamless. Project started and finished on time, the workers were respectful and surprisingly clean. The end result was breath taking. I spend every second I can outside in the beautiful outdoor living area they have created for me.

I can't say enough good stuff about Red Agave! There were a few rain delays but the end result was well worth the time invested. The guys couldn't have been nicer and they really worked hard to make the project come out the way we had envisioned. The bid was professionally done and the amount we paid was exactly what was bid, which in my experience, is fairly rare!

Red Agave did a fantastic job on my front yard landscaping. From the design/sketch process all the way through on time completion, the experience was great. Jensen is extremely knowledgeable and I never felt intimidated to chime in during the job. The job included metal working, gravel incorporation, plant selection and cleanup. The price was fair unlike my quote process with others in Austin.

They did various steel planters and a plant design and plant installation. At first the plants looked a bit sparse but everything filled in and achieved the look we wanted. The steel gives a nice modern look. Communication was great and it was really easy to get a hold of Alex when we had questions.

Red Agave just completed 2 projects at our home. Tungie, Samwell, Clayton, Jason, and Bo did a great job! They were easy to work with and listened to our questions. They cleaned up their work areas nicely. We are enjoying our walkway to our back garden and the walkway to mailbox.

I have used Red Agave to trim my trees several times in the last few years. I'm always delighted with the way the trees look afterwards. It's like a good haircut, you don't even notice the trim. They really understand trees and work carefully and safely. Zack takes the time to arrange his ropes and gear before he makes the cut. Definitely recommended very highly!
